When I come back to Naples again hands down I will stay here. Lovely staff are always chatty and happy to help. They think of everything to make your stay as good as possible. Free meal nights and snacks. Delicious free breakfast with cereal, yoghurt, toast, croissants, juices and latte! I looked forward to coming back to this relaxing hostel every evening. Even though it's the low season there were always other guests to talk to and a wonderful common area to relax in. It even has a bar and a little guest kitchen. Beds and plump pillows were so comfy, a nice little outdoor balcony area, showers nice and hot, even a bidet, which I've never seen in a hostel before!

Amalfi can be reached in 1 hour by car, while Sorrento is 14 km from Brikette Hostel. The owner are very friendly and organized, always creating events for us to join, was really good experience with them

The front gate was hard to find tbh, but from the staff to the room, and HANDMADE breakfast (included in the fees) were totally above my expectations.

Buses stop just outside the property and link with other towns nearby. The nearest beaches are 600 metres from the hostel while the ferry harbour is 1 km away. Excursions to the Amalfi Coast, Pompei and Naples, can be booked on site. We were very pleased to stay here. The train station and downtown Sorrento are walking distance so it was perfect for us. Everything was clean and comfy, Mariana was the sweetest staff member, we will always remember her.

La Controra is a former monastery with garden, transformed into a friendly hostel in the centre of Naples. Rooms have air conditioning.
