Clelia and Bob were incredibly nice and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and so was the shared bathroom. We had an amazing experience in Pontebba thanks to the wonderful hosts who gave us good recommendations and a nice chat.

First of all - the place is exceptional and the hosts are incredibly nice and hospitable. Don’t hesitate to book this place. They love to talk with their guests, you can feel like at home. Marko is also preparing breakfast for the guests each morning which you can eat on a sunny outside space with wonderful view over mountains, that was amazing gesture! You can tell they like their guests!!!! Towels are provided free of charge. Whole building is really bright with a lot of light and well keeped common area. The room spaces are kept nice and tidy with a bit of privacy for each bed which was really good. The showers were also kept clean. The location is also perfect - there’s 2-3 minutes to the bus stop which will take you to Bled or Bohinj lake, or a train station. Again - thank you for hosting me and I will be definitely back!!

Ryan and Katia are super nice people and you will feel like home at their house. I will miss our chats and amazing breakfast. The place is in a beautiful area so there are many opportunities for hiking trips or just to chill by the river. I am looking forward to coming back soon!! 🤍

The friendly owner welcomed us with homemade liquor and helped us with everything. Clean house with a very nice and distinctive atmosphere. Great breakfast. I highly recommend this hostel.

It was clean, well-decorated, and pleasant. The owners do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The pods are spacious and airy. The kitchen is well-equipped. The best of both worlds: togetherness and privacy.

Life Hostel Slovenia is situated in Radovljica, 41 km from Ljubljana. There is a restaurant on site and guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Some rooms feature views of the mountain or a city park. Location made it easy access for day tripping to bled and bohinj lakes. Staff were very helpful

Housed in an old monastery building, 1A Adventure Hostel is set in Lesce, 3.9 km from Bled. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar, fire up a barbecue and enjoy the sun terrace. What a lovely place to stay and a breath of fresh air from the busyness of Bled. It's only 7 kms away but it feels like a world apart. It makes a great base to explore around. We actually rented some bikes from them and spent the morning riding around the lake. The guy in the reception (afternoon/evening shift when we got there) is terrific!! So helpful and kind!! He gave us a lot of tips and helped us on everything. The room was large enough and the bathroom, just across the corridor, spotless clean. There were a couple more nearby, so we never had to wait. The facilities in teh hostel are really good. We ate out, so didn't hve thechance to use the kitchen, but it all looked great (even the dining room). It's cozy and very original set up, as it used to be a monastery. It's just by the church (and cementery) so expect the bell to ring from time to time. Overall,a great option for Bled and the area.
