I (53 years old woman) arrived here together with my daughter (27 years old). I was quite anxious to stay in the hostel cause I have never stayed in this type of accommodation and my daughter stayed only for one night to help me settle here. I was pleasantly surprised how good my stay was here. From the warm welcome to the very clean room and shared areas. The hostel was very well equipped : the kitchen had everything you could need and more . There were very good lounging spots inside and outside, also a concert on one of the evenings. Everyone was so helpful as I'm not fluent in English and helped me to organise a boat trip. I just want to say that it was one of the best decisions to stay here.

I was impressed with this hostel. First time in Sicily, I arrived later than expected but they checked me in nevertheless. I needed an invoice and they provided one. I received a complimentary drink upon arrival, and next morning the breakfast was included and satiating. Plus they had a professional foosball table. My top bed was comfortable and the curtain made it private. I really like the no-shoes in the room policy.

Located in the centre of Catania, Ostello degli Elefanti is set in a historic building. Guests can relax on the sun terrace. Hostel has spacious rooms which are kept very clean. It has a marvellous roof top bar with the best view of Catania and Mt Etna. Location of the hostel is right in the center as well. Free nice breakfast, free pasta every evening. Caring and friendly staff. One of the best hostel experiences i've ever had.
