Everything was so charming I couldn't have asked for more.

Restaurant (great soup!) and café (pistachio cornetto! ) very reasonably priced. 20-min walk to Assisi walls. Sounds of chirping birds, light wind, scent of the woods and campfires. I could have stayed a week! Easy to make friends with fellow-travelrs and share lively conversation over good local wine. I will remember Fontemaggio fondly!

Valfabbrica is a small romantic village with a nice atmosphere, and staying in this hostel was a very good option for my pilgrimage on the Via di Francesco. Very close is a shop, a few bars, and restaurants. For one night on the camino, there couldn´t be a better option. The heating in the room was also sufficient.
