The common area was little, only accommodating 6ppl at a time. We mingled 1 night out of the 4 that we were there so I’m not sure if that is enough space usually — it was enough for the 1 night that we did. The hostel is very clean. I think the staff clean every day. The surrounding area is very quiet which is nice.

And this one was the first one. And it was fantastic, it exceeded all expectations. I arrived late night and as the hotel was closed. They left me detailed instructions and it was a real mystical quest through Venice at night. I lived in the room on 3d floor and the view was incredible and I saw as the sun rose. Breakfast was simple but very tasty and in beautiful space.

The room was spacious and well equipped with Canal Views. Easy walk to both landmarks and the Vaporetto stop. Highly recommended!

A 10-minute walk from Santa Lucia Train Station, Ostello Domus Civica is set in Venice’s San Polo district. This hostel offers a shared terrace and rooms and beds in mixed dormitories, both with shared bathrooms. Great hostel! Stuff was very friendly, the room, halls and bathrooms were always extremely clean. It was one of the best experience of staying the hostel.
