It’s quite luxury and the house keeping even makes your bed every day. The hostel is located in the center, very close to the palazzo, so it’s easy to get out and about. The hostel itself is well equipped with a full function (and beautiful) kitchen. I feel like living at home when cooking there. There is an espresso machine in the kitchen. So I get my morning coffee fixed as well.

Grand Hostel Manin is located in La Spezia, a 15-minute walk from La Spezia Centrale Train Station and 300 metres from the ferry port, both offering links to the UNESCO Cinque Terre National Park. This was a very friendly hostel. The staff made everyone feel very welcome and have very useful tips about the local area and what to see in the Cinqua Terre tailored to how you wanted to do it. They encouraged a real community atmosphere which was so nice. A really great place to stay that I would recommend and would come back to.

This is on of the most special places I have ever stayed at, and hands down the best “hostel”. It is much more of a collaborative social space where likeminded people share their time. It was so chilled and you can tell that Linda and Federico have poured their hearts and personalities into the entire property. Everywhere is beautiful and clean, with spaces to gather and also spend time in solace. I can’t wait to return!
