If you stay here, know that the dinners and breakfasts are cooked by the mom of the family, and she's an exceptional cook. What's more, most of the food is grown in their garden downstairs. On our last night we had a lengthy conversation with the eldest son of the family, about jordanian culture and traditions, which was extremely interesting. The rooms are great and spacious, with comfortable beds, have a mini fridge and the hostel is 12 minutes drive trough a gorgeous road. Last but not least, as the name says the place has a breathtaking view over the mountains that surround Petra. If you have dinner here you'll enjoy a beautiful view of the sunset behind the mountains.

We booked a Family Room as a couple. The room is amazing - very clean, very modern, own bathroom. Free parking next to it, close to Petra by foot. The host is unmatched by his kindness! He loves to get in touch with his customers and exchange about cultural differences alongside very good tea - he also likes to invite people to his family’s wedding, sadly there wasn’t one around the time we stayed :( For extra payment he prepares breakfast, lunch or dinner - we had an amazing breakfast at 6 a.m. (time can be discussed with him), a perfect start for our long journey through Petra! A special mention goes to Twaissi, who went above and beyond during my stay — always caring, listening, and making sure everything was perfect. He truly made the experience even better.
