The owner was incredibly friendly and constantly ensured I was comfortable. I was the only guest at the hotel, yet he still came to cook breakfast for me. The room was spotless and cozy. If you're reading this and considering a trip to Jordan, just go. There are no tourists in Petra right now, and you'll likely never see this wonder of the world this empty again in your lifetime.

We have a great time living in the guesthouse and couldn’t ask more, The location is perfect which is only 10min walk to Petra visit center. The room is clean and we have spacious cooking area with the living room and kitchen, The owner Mohammad has been super helpful and friendly, he gave us all inside information how to visit the Petra ancient city and help us to arranged the transportation to the next city with the local rate. He also shared a lot insightful information about Jordan and living here in general which I learn a lot. We were in Jordan not in the perfect timing when their neighbors are into war but all Jordanian we have meet here make us peaceful stay. Thanks so much for your hospitality.

The place is very comfortable, clean and best accommodation for my whole trip in jordan. Brother Ammar was very helpful and very knowledgeable about locations in Petra.

Also close proximity to Petra. The walking distance is around 15 mins. Located in the heart of the city. Good restaurants and local market around. Since I was a solo traveller, I was quite worried about being scammed. However, the host helped me around with local shopping, ensured I did not get scammed with tourist tax. He was kind! Also, he’s a great cook. Very reliable in that sense. I didn’t feel worried at all. 10/10 recommend staying at Z Hostel. Ps. He also manages Wadi Rum tours. Pps. The host is also a great calligrapher (:
