They shared many insights about the history and highlights of Asuke, making me feel as though I had become a part of this beautiful town. I stayed in a single room, which was spacious and comfortable, offering a relaxing experience. The restrooms and shower facilities were clean and well-maintained, and to top it off, there was even an open-air bath. It was the perfect way to unwind and soothe my travel fatigue. This is a place I would love to return to as a base for exploring Asuke.

We had a wonderful stay at the Trip and Sleep Hostel. As a family of four, our kids especially loved the bunk beds and enjoyed eating our convenience-store dinner in the communal lounge. The unisex shower rooms were clean and functional—though I was initially unsure, they turned out to be just fine. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The hostel offers complimentary coffee and tea, and you can fill your water bottle in the kitchen. To our surprise, despite this being our first hostel experience, it was incredibly quiet, and all the guests were respectful. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from a shopping street with easy access to everything we needed. After a long drive from Kobe, we were greeted warmly by the English-speaking staff. The rooms felt very secure, with double doors and a unique passcode for each guest. Making our own beds was simple, and fresh towels were available for ¥100 each. There’s also a self-service laundry for ¥400 per load, which was very convenient. Overall, it was a great stay in a well-situated and friendly hostel!

Opened in April 2015. Located in Endoji Shopping Street, one of the oldest shopping streets in Nagoya, this is a slightly unusual inn that has been renovated from a coffee shop with a history of nearly 100 years and an electric shop. Loveee the Japanese style room that we stayed in, very clean, we had 2 people so it was very spacious, great value for the price, lovely place with everything you need! Also, a big plus that it is close to a lot of restaurants that open late at night and offer very nice food and drink. The area is very quite, a nice neighbourhood of Japanese style house. Will def. come back again when I'm in Nagoya :)

It only has 3 floors which is nice and won't have a hard time carrying luggage. The staff was very accommodating and provides good and delicious breakfast. The location is good and lots of things to do and to eat around the area.

First of all staff was really helpful. They went out of their way to find us taxis in a tricky situation. Then its in between nagoya station and osu shopping streets so you are walking distance to main shopping and nightlife areas in nagoya. Plus they allow you to keep the luggage before and after your stay so you can make use of most of your time without having to use lockers.
