The host was extremely welcoming and kind, the facilities were excellent, everything was clean and in great condition. The location was also excellent for anyone doing the Shimanamoi cycling route.

Guest house tokonoma on yugeshima and the 3 islands its connected was by far the highlight of our holiday. Forget about the shimanami kaido. Go to yugeshima, ride the loop there and do the yumeshima kaido and disappear into a real life ghibli movie. These 4 connected islands are absolutely stunning and so serene and quiet they dont even have traffic lights. The people are so kind, the views are breathtaking, and you are virtually the only tourist! This is a very rare experience. Yasu san is a great host, he helped us get the most out of the short time we had on the islands and he’s just overall a very nice person. The guests were great to, good vibes all around.

It is close to the bridge and a konbini. The check-in was smooth. The staff who served us did a great job. She explained things clearly, and there was no communication issue as well. Kudos to her! The cabin and public area (cafe, lockers, toilet, shower, garage, and laundrymart) were excellent. It was clean, tidy, and spacey. They provide nice amenities. I loved the dinner set as well; it was filling and tasty! Lastly, as a smoker, I really appreciate that they have a smoking area at the front of the hostel/the corner of the garage. Overall, I got what I needed and had a great time in this hostel. I think this hostel is the best hostel I've ever been to.

The place is a beautiful kept traditional Japanese wooden house. I loved the house and the location but the best part of the experience were the host family. I felt like I was visiting my family, I got to experience very traditional meals and great company. I hope to visit again!

The house is spacious, with everything you need from kitchen facilities, games available and very very comfortable beds. An ideal location close to the station, it was great for our 1 night's stay (we visited the Adachi Art Museum).

Hostel Mallika is located in the Hiroshima City Centre district in Hiroshima, 400 metres from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and 700 metres from Atomic Bomb Dome. The receptionist was really helpful and kind. Great location and confortable bed. I would stay there again.
