We met the guy at the reception and he was really kind and helpful to us! He spoke great english and gave us a map with many activities and recommendations for our stay in Takayama. I definitely recommend this hostel to any people looking for an affordable but traditional place for their stay, as well as it being very foreigner- friendly

The house is super clean and the host is very nice and welcoming! The location is close to nature and i recommend renting bikes from the host it is super easy to get around like that in takayama I was in a women dorm and it felt very comfotable and the bed is personal with personal lamp and cover, plus lockers were outside the room I enjoyed the stay very much!

Your company is gonna be some Japanese uncles and aunties, but they are great. It’s a simple place with a great soul!
