We had a double private room which was immaculately clean and sufficiently spacious (according to japanese standards). Location was great, close to Peace Memorial Park and the museum, shopping street and bars, restaurants etc. On the ground floor there is a shared space where you can get coffee and a light lunch or snacks. Would definitely stay here again!!

His hospitality made the experience truly unforgettable. The hostel itself was perfect. The beds were super cozy, the common area was beautifully set up for relaxation and meeting fellow travelers, and the free coffee was a lovely touch. Nice Day Hostel is more than just a place to sleep – it’s a place where you feel at home, largely because of Mohammed’s incredible efforts. Highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent location and facilities for a midway stop along the Shimanami Kaido. Do yourself a favour and break it up to have time to stop and enjoy things along the way. Kosanji Temple, which includes the access to the Hill of Hope is very close by and worth stopping for. The new Sauna is great after a day in the saddle - you have to book it prior to arriving though, so be sure to do that via email.

Clean rooms and nice to have breakfast available. A bit of a shame we could not stay the 5 people in the family in one room as the rooms are quite big. Instead we had to take 2 separate rooms.
