The family running the hostel is very friendly, and it’s just a 1-minute walk to a 7-Eleven, which was very convenient for drinks and snacks. There’s also a larger supermarket about 3 minutes away with really good sushi boxes.

The nearest airport is Iwakuni Kintaikyo Airport, 44 km from WeBase Hiroshima. the location and helpfulness of the staff was incredible, and everyone spoke fluid english which helped a lot

The hostels is really clean, spacious and it’s really near the Peace Memorial Park. You can even leave your baggage when you’re checking out, in case you want to check something before leaving Hiroshima. The staff is really kind and explains everything

The guesthouse has such a great vibe and Hiroshima in general. I chose female dormitory and I am happy I had this choice. Warm welcome from Rin who spoke great English and outstanding facilities- a modern but traditional Japanese guest house for all ages. Tatami and futon with kitchen facilities and an outdoor garden area for a beer. Drinks available, great views and easy access to toilets and washroom. Close to a family run eatery with amazing okonomiyaki and lemon goods all over the place. Right on the port if you decide to catch a ferry back to Onomichi or great spot to keep riding to the next island. Loved this little place and would definitely recommend.
