We really enjoyed having the entire floor to ourselves, which included three bedrooms and a dining area. This layout was perfect for our group's needs. The location was ideal, being close to Farm Tomita, a key stop on our Hokkaido summer trip. A delightful and unexpected bonus was discovering the illuminations at Hinode Park nearby, which turned out to be the highlight of our stay

I broke my leg skiing and the host Suke-san kindly offered to help me retrieve my rental car, ship my bags home and took me to get on the bus to the airport the next day. I couldn't have gotten home so easily without him! Besides all that, the accommodations were well run, clean, warm and quiet, beds were comfy and other travelers were friendly.

The staff are amazing, always available for questions. Very clean (saw how they clean the bathroom and shower area, wow). Sheets smell good and laundered, floor is always clean. The mattress is great. Location is great - just between the main street and subway stations, and the nightlife area, in a side quite street. There is also a little cabinet with a lock in the "room", next to the mattress, and light blocking curtains. There is enough room for my stuff inside the "room", but also under the bed. The AC is great. Great wifi.

The hotel is located in a beautiful western-style house and the decoration is classy. Our room come with seaview over the lovely neighborhood. The hotel staffs are super friendly. We were able to leave our luggage before we check in because we arrived earlier than the check in time. The neighborhood is quiet but also very close to the main street. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting Otaru.
