The area is popular for hiking, and bike hire is available at the hostel. I was able to make my own breakfast. Since I am studying Japanese, the staff were also very friendly giving me instructions in Japanese of how to use things as well as giving me ideas for buying miyages or even places to eat. I also had great opportunity to talk with other japanese guests.

The bunk beds compared to other hostels that I've stayed are much bigger and also the room only has two bunk beds and is spacious, which helps if you need to fix your luggage! :D The rooms are on the second floor which has one toilet for sharing. The second floor also has a public space. Two Shower rooms are downstairs along with another toilet that has a bidet. The location is also a 5mins walk from the nearest subway station! There's a 7/11 and Family Mart Konbini near the place! I also tried ordering a meal in the cafe - the hamburger set meal was Oishi! It was very filling also since it includes a rice and hamburger + sunny side egg on top of it while glazed with a special sauce. It also includes onion rings and fries! Overall, the place is very good and affordable, would recommend and go back again here :D

The room is very nice all from oak (wood) 🪵 There is a laundry machine and you can take the bicycle to dry it in town (few minutes ride) There is a pub and restaurant in the place Tatsuno is a wonderful small town which i think is a gem.

I arrived right when check-in starts and got an amazingly comfortable bed!

Luggage storage is available in the morning. The hostel also offers bicycle rental. Loved this hostel. The couple that runs this place are amazing people. They were very accommodating and were very patient when I tried to speak some Japanese with them. This place is a good alternative to staying in Osaka, as osaka hotels can be expensive and booked up. If we return to Osaka area, we will 100% stay here again. Beds are comfortable, very spacious dorms, kitchen has everything you need to cook, and plenty of bathrooms and showers. Enjoyed our stay very much
