The property is non-smoking and is located 600 metres from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Even though the room we we're in wasn't too big. Which is something we knew coming here. It was extremly cosy and had a very good vibe. The venue itself feels as if you're staying in a luxury hotel. Everything you need is provided and it had one of the best, if not the best, breakfasts we've had during our stay in Japan. No need to go to a bar to drink something, the guestlounge upstairs or downstairs has the perfect atmosphere! Also the only place we stayed that provided us with a premade breakfast plate (healthy food) because we has to leave earlier than normal breakfast time. I highly recommend staying here!

It had a nice feel to it. On a quiet street and a short walk from the train station. Everything is newly finished by the owner himself, who is interested in sustainability and local community. The bed was comfortable and the sleeping pod was spacious and well designed. The pods give yiu privacy even if you’re staying with others in the shared room.
I had an enjoyable night and this was a good value for money. Beyond that, Takumi (owner) was super friendly and accommodating. His property is a DIY place that he’s built out and is a fun place for building a community. There is a central area to sit and eat, which is a nice way to meet other travelers. If you’re traveling through and want to meet locals and others, I think this would be a great little hub.

This is a lovely hostel, one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed at. They have the bunk beds that are more like booths so you have total privacy. Lovely onsen on site as well. Bonus points for the most attractive man I’ve ever seen in my life working there!
location, breakfast, room, staff Hands down, the best place to stay for a solo traveler if you are planning to stay a night in Hakone. Just a 10 minute walk from the train station. You get your own cabin with a lockable sliding door and a key. So even though it's a hostel, you get your own cubicle with better privacy and safety. There's a restaurant with great affordable food and a lounge to hang out. And for my booking the breakfast was included which was delicious. The staff is very friendly as well.
Have been staying in K house chain in Fujikawaguchiko as well. Probably the best hostel in the Japan through out my stay. Very clean & lot of social space
One of the best hostels I've ever been to - very new, clean and fully equipped. The capsules were surprisingly spacious and even had their own little window and AC. They serve a delicious and rich breakfast. Also the location was great - easy to walk from the station or to reach some onsen, yet quiet.
The hostel was amazing. Love the spacious bathroom and the room itself is perfect for one person. The hostel's location is convenient and safe for a solo female traveller. I also got breakfast there which was also delightful. There were three to four options to choose from and they were all delicious and very filling for the start of the day.
Everything! I loved it there. It's the best hostel with the best manager. Kana is an angel and made my time in Hakone unforgettable. We are friends now and I hope to see her again. The hostel is so well kept, clean and beautiful. I felt very comfortable. The dorm beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen and common area are very nice. I did everything what Kana recommended and it was always a success. Thank you so much!
Owner is a elder backpacker, so they know what voyager need. The staff also very nice, my shoes are broken when i arrived, they show me where to repair patiently.it's very nice to charting with people in the hostel. The building is a traditional old house, Furnishings have a good taste, let you feel at home. Also very clean palce.
Really loved the beds and facilities out of 4 hostels I've stayed during my trip to Japan this round. It's about 5-10 minutes walk from the station with a supermarket on the way. The staff were kind to lend an umbrella when requested. The bed size was really comfy, with lots of space to put some bags at the edge of the bed for a 163 cm tall person. The bunk bed structure was really sturdy and gave the privacy needed between beds as well. 10/10 will come back if I ever visit Kamakura again.
Great location in Kamakura, perfect to visit temples, shrines, great Buddha and close to the commercial area with shops and restaurants Very comfortable bedding, great mattress and steady bunk bed (no movement nor noise) Shower rooms were comfortable and included amenities (shower products + daily towels) Very clean hostel
great location, cheap beer, very cute little cabins and loved that the hostel was so quiet and everyone was super respectful. wouldnt have even known there were others sleeping in the same room!
