The onsen separate men and women. There were indoor and outdoor of living room. Kitchen always keeps clean here. Washing machine and dryer was provided inside the place. This accommodation concerns environment . The lady staff demonstrated information clearly with her friendly mind. I would like to say thank for her assistance. The place was clean and comfortable. You can walk for 7 mins to the rope bridge where cross over the beautiful river, waterfall and view point of Kinugawa. From Nikko, you can take local train with 1 changing station but during train journey is very amazing view beside the railway.

Every room is equipped with a shared bathroom, a shower and a hairdryer, and certain rooms at ちゃぶだい Guesthouse, Cafe&Bar have a safety deposit box. All units will provide guests with a fridge. This guesthouse has a warm, welcoming vibe and is among my favourite accommodations in Japan. The old traditional building, with the cafe in the front and the garden at the back provide a memorable stay in Kawagoe. The staff is very friendly and I had a great time socialising with other guests. It is clean, comfortable and relaxing.

I booked pod with window view. The view to the river and tokyo tower was simply fantastic. What I liked the most about the place: - excellent location. 2-3 minutes to Asakusa metro station - helpful staff - comfortable bed - pod has an overall nice feel to it

Laundry is available at an extra charge. The hostel is amazing – great location in the heart of Hakone, close to attractions and transportation, yet peaceful and relaxing. The best part was the lovely host (or receptionist), who was extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Hakone next time. Highly recommended!

Sanae, the hostel owner, is very sweet and takes good care of the hostel. Her Japanese-style breakfast is also delicious! All other positive reviews are on point.
