It’s locate near the JR Kyoto station. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The room is small but big enough for me to unpack my 2 luggages at the same time (1 big 1 carry-on). The number of shared shower room are reasonable. (some place has just 3 rooms!) I have a good time stay at Piece Hostel Kyoto.

All units in 城崎温泉 HOSTEL Waraku are equipped with a flat-screen TV and free toiletries. Great spot that was clean and as expected. If you want to use the Sauna, make sure to sign up the day before or in the morning for the evening. If no one signs up, they don’t turn it on and it take a while to heat up.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 600 metres from Shimoyamatobashi Monument. The room is clean and comfortable to sleep in. The AC is also cool so sleeping was not a problem. The host is also kind and explanative. She gave me explanation how to go where and we had a fun conversation

Site Of Reversible Destiny Yoro Park is 33 km from the hostel and Yoro Land is 33 km away. Well worth the effort to travel to experience a lovely ryokan, it's host and the town. I paid for dinner and I'm SO glad I did. It was a highlight of my stay and in deed a highlight of my 5 week trip in Japan. You sit in a sunken seating area and watch the ryokan owner/cook prepare what felt like a large number of individual dishes. The food was absolutely delicious. I was concerned about hearing other guests because, being an older house, the walls are thin - but the night I was there all the guests were respectfully quiet. I had a view over the "river" which may be a mis-nomer - but it is a peaceful stream running through the pretty street. I highly recommend a visit.
