Some travellers to chat with in the well furnished kitchen and common room downstairs. Right next to Nara train station. Nice walk to Nara park from the property past many restaurants and stores. Glad I stayed in here in Nara rather than doing a day trip.

All units in 城崎温泉 HOSTEL Waraku are equipped with a flat-screen TV and free toiletries. beautiful facility, very comfortable private room. staff are friendly. great location, close to the main street and not busy. would not consider this a social hostel however, but great for a short stay in kinosaki.

Very helpful people.

So far the best hostel I stayed in so far. The interior design is amazing and they have like an array of comfy sofas, a kitchen, fridge with beers (not free) and the rooms are spacious and instead of cramming as many beds as possible they keep it spacious. Very nice host, almost every possible amenity I could think of available and great location, with a park across the street if you like a calm morning breakfast in nature. Just a few stops removed from Namba and subway is a 5 min walk. Again, so far the best hostel I stayed in and would definitely recommend it.

It felt like it sprang from a movie. The staff was very helpful and answered any questions I had. The common area was so cozy too! I will definetly stay here again, next time I am visiting Toyooka^^

Site Of Reversible Destiny Yoro Park is 33 km from the hostel and Yoro Land is 33 km away. Well worth the effort to travel to experience a lovely ryokan, it's host and the town. I paid for dinner and I'm SO glad I did. It was a highlight of my stay and in deed a highlight of my 5 week trip in Japan. You sit in a sunken seating area and watch the ryokan owner/cook prepare what felt like a large number of individual dishes. The food was absolutely delicious. I was concerned about hearing other guests because, being an older house, the walls are thin - but the night I was there all the guests were respectfully quiet. I had a view over the "river" which may be a mis-nomer - but it is a peaceful stream running through the pretty street. I highly recommend a visit.
