It’s locate near the JR Kyoto station. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The room is small but big enough for me to unpack my 2 luggages at the same time (1 big 1 carry-on). The number of shared shower room are reasonable. (some place has just 3 rooms!) I have a good time stay at Piece Hostel Kyoto.

The property is non-smoking and is set 400 metres from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall. More traditional home style which I preferred. Toru was very nice, helpful, and informative. I liked the nice shared common space that made a communal feeling even though you had a private room. I slept very well!

The owner goes out of his way every morning to make sure there's an extensive breakfast buffet in the communal room, which feels like an actual living room. Beds are comfortable, shower is great and there are laundry facilities all next to this cute garden. We've been here twice now and we'll probably be back some more times. Also Jiro is still as amazing as ever ;)

This 1-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and a concierge service. The property is non-smoking and is set 1 km from Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. Wonderful experience. I couldn't imagine better choice than this one. Spent 4 days in Kyoto and the place was awesome to come back and rest. Thank you for your hospitality!

A 15-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Yasaka Shrine, Guest House Gojo offers simple and cosy Japanese-style dormitory accommodation with free Wi-fi, futon beds and shared bathrooms. It is housed in a 100-year-old traditional building. It was so cosy from the moment we looked inside, and we were warmly greeted upon entering. Their toast and coffee in the morning was the perfect meal to start the day, and they even made us breakfast before they opened because we had to leave by 9am! the atmosphere of the place felt so homely 😊 will definitely be back!

The entire hotel is very modern and full of facilities. The owner is an exceptional guy and he became my friend immediately. I strongly suggest this place!

The couple running it are very nice and helpful. Great room. You need to walk for a bit to get to the nearest public transport, but it's worth it.
