The host is a super nice and attentive person, he made us feel like we were at home. The hostel is beautiful, it is made of details and with a lot of love love. They have two beautiful kittens!

Warm and friendly hosts that made us feel super welcome! We hope to come back again to stay at this awesome family-run hostel. They have a lovely big kitchen and dining area for guests to cook and hangout. Located right across the road from a great surfing beach with bikes for free and surfboard & wetsuit rentals. Lots of things in biking distance if you don't have a car and we took a train nearby that took us to the airport when leaving. Emi and Sok also offer surfing lessons and surf-skate lessons which we didn't sign up for but heard good things about from other guests. Super clean and wifi was good (my partner had to do a video meeting while there). The suggestions from our hosts on which breaks to go to so we could get some great surfs in were also really appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay that capped off our awesome time in Kyushu!!

The owner is extremely helpful and kind, and made my short stay in Saiki a lot more meaningful and enjoyable than I expected.

The owner puts in a lot of thoughts to make it feels like home. The sleeping room is extremely spacious, the bed is comfortable. Really enjoyed the coffee which the hostel offered from fresh coffee beans.

Taketa Ekimae Hostel cue có khu vườn, phòng chờ chung, sân hiên và quầy bar ở Taketa. Chỗ nghỉ này nằm cách Sân vận động Oita Bank Dome 46 km, Ga Oita 45 km và Núi Aso 48 km. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. Me and my wife absolutely loved staying at this traditional Japanese house. And although traditional, the house is very well renovated, comfortable, and clean. The room was cosy, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I intend to return to Taketa while travelling around Kyushu and I will definitely stay again at this Hostel Cue!

I really enjoyed my stay at Guesthouse Matsuo A at the end of my long bicycle trip from Tokyo – very welcoming atmosphere, perfect location, and an incredibly supportive and interesting host. Highly recommended!

What a cool spot. The host Shiori is the sweetest person ever. She taught my partner how to play the cello then we played together in the sunset at the beach. Fukutsu is a wonderful, charming town. The house is clean and tidy, with great facilities, its always nice having access to a washing machine.
