First time in Miyajima and so so glad we stayed overnight. It’s a wonderful and enchanting island. Cute temples, deer wandering everywhere, mountains to climb. Nakaya is in a great location, lots of space in a spotlessly clean traditional house (we were family of 5). Owner was super helpful - her recommendations for activities and restaurants were spot on. Would love to go back.

The staff were very friendly and obliging. The room was a traditional style Japanese room with lots of character and a view of the bay. Free breakfast and dinner are included in the price. There is also a very nice traditional onsen available to book for a cheap price.

Great location next to the ferry station. The owner of the hotel is a super nice old lady that really took care of us, the food was also really good. There is an option to have continental breakfast, for those that don't want fish in the morning.

We had a great stay at Sakuraya. Great location (2 minutes from the ferry and a few minutes walk to the shrine along the water) and really friendly staff. Bar, cafe, onsen and laundry on site.

Cheap hotel, big room, great location for catching ferry and train, delicious free breakfast and lovely staff.

Great location, large room with sea views, nice staff, good breakfast, good value relative to staying on the island itself (cheap, regular ferries, short trip). No need to train to Hiroshima.

Great traditional Japanese hotel with extremely polite and helpful staff. Their Japanese dinner and breakfast were amazing. Great location too with a few minutes walk to the shrine.

The staff was amazing and the hostel was such a great location. The rooms are clean and the facilities are all super up to date. I got awesome recommendations from the staff including what time is best for each place, super helpful!
