She was extremely accommodating and had everything ready for us when we got there. The beds are lovely and spacious, and the room is large enough to have room to keep your bags and unpack if needed. There's also hangers, coat rack, laundry all accessible for guests. There's a lovely common room with multiple places to sit and converse. AND she has a lovely drip coffee area! Ive never seen this in a hostel before throughout my 7 years of travelling. Such a lovely surpise. Overall 10/10

All units at Guest House & Cafe Yamaboushi include air conditioning and a desk. I loved everything, but especially the experience I had there, mostly thanks to the kindness that Yama-san and Yuka-san showed me. They were so welcoming, as were the other people who stayed at the hostel. The location is beautiful with wide open windows that show the view of the strait. People are lovely and kind. There is a space to cook your own food, which was very convenient! The bus runs through town, so you can easily catch it to go to Izuhara if you want. There are beautiful areas all around Yamaboushi that are great to check out!

The cafe is lovely, and right next door. You have privacy, because there's no staff in the hostel itself. You can get to the konbini with a 15min walk. The owners are very friendly and kind.

The property is non-smoking and is set 1.6 km from Nagasaki Station. it was a new clean hostel that didn’t show any signs of being old or lack of maintenance, everything was available and worked without issues. Wi-Fi worked well everywhere and the bed was spacious and comfortable. I particularly appreciated small things they provided for free like towels, toothbrush, cotton buds and even razors. there’s no staff around to ask for help if needed but the self checkin using the web link was easy and quick.
