Just a 10-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station, Hostel Cuore Kurashiki is located in a historic Bikan district in Kurashiki. Each guest room features unique design and stylish interior. Everything !!!!! Super friendly! Breakfast was good and really filling for me. Amazing place to stay, I am looking forward to staying there again!

Hibari House Guest house is located a 10-minute drive from Okayama Station, from where guests can reach Hiroshima Station in 40 minutes by train and Shin-Osaka Station in 50 minutes. Great clean and friendly hostel above a bar in the main strip area. Good access to everything. Dryers and shower were super nice.

Only 500 metres from JR Okayama Station’s west exit, Kamp Houkan-cho Backpacker's Inn & Lounge’s features a café with a live stage for DJs and other artists. Love this place, a great location, great staff, good rooms and beds, and it's a community meeting spot!

Kikusui Ryokan se află în Tamano, la 24 km de Sogenji Temple, și pune la dispoziție camere cu aer condiționat și o grădină. Ryokan was amazing. Great location, central to everything. Building and rooms were authentic, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All the extra touches like the robes and artwork were very thoughtful. Favourite Japan stay on our trip. Would highly recommend.

北房まちの駅 AZAE ドリトミー azae se găsește în Maniwa, la aproximativ 22 km de Shoka Museum Ikegamitei și la 23 km de Bukeyashiki Kyu Oriike Kyu Haibarake. Mr Sakamoto was a wonderful host! He does his job well as local town tourist information manager. He welcomed us, gave us some maps and answered our questions. It’s a converted Japanese house, not a hotel. We stayed in the cheaper dormitory part of the property. It was adequate. In the dormitory side the two rooms are upstairs and the toilet and small shower are downstairs. The toilets were clean and the kitchenette area under the stairs was adequate for simple dinner and breakfast we had. The local supermarket is a short distance away by car and open 9a-9p. Plenty of selection available. We enjoyed a morning walk along the lovely little river and through the town and countryside. The firefly park and pavilion were a short drive away but they were interesting to see. We’d love to go back in the spring during cherry blossom season and in early June for the firefly season. The stars were beautiful since there’s little light pollution!
