Amazing location in the Historical quarter. The service from the man who greeted me was very warm. This was the highest quality accommodation I stayed in out of the 10 hotels i visited in Japan. The bathroom was incredible, having a washing machine was so handy & the space in the room was perfect. There was even a mini projector you can plug a USB into to project onto the wall. The building was an annex but if you go back over to the main building, there is a bar with some very nice food. I'd suggest the Teriyaki pizza.

Hibari House Guest house tọa lạc cách ga Okayama 10 phút lái xe. Từ ga này, quý khách có thể đi tàu đến các ga Hiroshima và Shin-Osaka trong lần lượt 40 và 50 phút. Great clean and friendly hostel above a bar in the main strip area. Good access to everything. Dryers and shower were super nice.

Building and rooms were authentic, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All the extra touches like the robes and artwork were very thoughtful. Favourite Japan stay on our trip. Would highly recommend.

Mr Sakamoto was a wonderful host! He does his job well as local town tourist information manager. He welcomed us, gave us some maps and answered our questions. It’s a converted Japanese house, not a hotel. We stayed in the cheaper dormitory part of the property. It was adequate. In the dormitory side the two rooms are upstairs and the toilet and small shower are downstairs. The toilets were clean and the kitchenette area under the stairs was adequate for simple dinner and breakfast we had. The local supermarket is a short distance away by car and open 9a-9p. Plenty of selection available. We enjoyed a morning walk along the lovely little river and through the town and countryside. The firefly park and pavilion were a short drive away but they were interesting to see. We’d love to go back in the spring during cherry blossom season and in early June for the firefly season. The stars were beautiful since there’s little light pollution!
