For a Japanese hostel (I wouldn’t even call it a hostel, it’s a level above) there is an impressive amount of space: in the hallways, in the rooms, and in the bathrooms. There are plenty of showers, sinks, and toilets, clearly designed to accommodate a large number of guests. This hostel has only been open for about six months, and I hope it stays at the same level in the future as it is now. I will definitely stay here again next time. A bit far from the popular areas, even though it’s close to Odaiba, you still need to make several transfers to get there. The city itself (Edogawa) is quite quiet and pleasant.

The location was good, literally just next to a subway station. The neighborhood was a more relaxed one which I really liked. I was travelling solo and it was a good place to meet other solo travellers. The guesthouse was cozy and the owner was really nice! I stayed at this guesthouse at the beginning of my trip and decided to stay there again at the end of my trip. :)

Located in a small quiet town just next to Haneda. Very clean and comfortable. Owner was very friendly and could speak/understand English. Great host who even prepared amenities for me when I mentioned I wanted to go to the nearby Sento. Embodies the philosophy of 一期一会 and represents great Japanese hospitality.

Mount Takao is 47 km from the hostel. It was well located right in the town but by the river. Staff was very friendly. Had a backpackin hostel social vibe but was clean as a hotel.

This was probably the best hostel I stayed in. It was really clean, I had everything I needed at my disposal. The sleeping space was really well arranged with a little light, a space with a code to put your stuff safely. And the staff was really kind and helpfull ! Thank you for everything, I woule definitily recommend !

Very clean, amenities provided, outlet next to bed, privacy, shelf and hangers for pod, plus cafe downstairs for relaxing and food or drink if I felt like it. I will definitely be staying here again when I'm in Tokyo next!
