Attractively set in the Nakano district of Tokyo, GrapeHouse Koenji is situated 500 metres from Keimei Park, less than 1 km from Yamato Park and a 8-minute walk from Mabashi Park. Featuring a shared lounge, the 1-star hostel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a shared bathroom. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, and luggage storage for guests. So clean, they clean everyday and it’s always spotless. The host is so lovely. Her dog is so cute and friendly too! Sometimes he’ll greet you at the door, this meant so much to me especially when I was missing my dog at home. The neighborhood is AMAZING. I love Koenji so much. A perfect, calm getaway from the city with still plenty of things to do. Great restaurants, thrifting, karaoke, parks, and Japanese vibes. Also Nakano is a 20 min walk away and they have a mall with Uniqlo and everything else you’d need. It’s easy to meet other people and make friends! Women-only was awesome and made me feel really safe. I can’t wait to go back and spend my entire Japan trip here. I shouldn’t have bothered with any other hotels. Nothing compares to Grapehouse Koenji!

Conveniently situated in the Minato district of Tokyo, Akasaka Guesthouse HIVE is located 500 metres from Kaishu Katsu & Ryoma Sakamoto Teacher and Student Monument, 500 metres from Turning Hill in Akasaka Monument and 700 metres from Hundertwasser Millennium Clock. The property is 500 metres from the city centre and 400 metres from Akasaka Station. Akasaka Hostel was great, employees are amazing, kind, friendly, helpful! I felt like I am home with my close friends. Everything was so clean and tidy. Employee works so hard to keep clean and organized everything. In room there are 8-10 beds normally I dont like such crowded rooms but in Akasaka they designed very well so I even didnt notice If someone else in my room or not. Ive arrived hostel very late, there is no employee after 10 pm until morning but they left key for me so I didnt have trouble. Akasaka Hostel is close to 2 different metro stations so you can go anywhere easily. Also it's close to 7eleven and other markets so anytime you can go find something to eat and drink cheap and quality. I highly recommend!
