They gave me a big city map and explained what places are worth visiting in the Seoraksan National Park and in Sokcho. I highly appreciate they helped me plan an onward bus journey to Andong. The bus stop for the National Park is 15 minutes away on foot, the express bus terminal for Seoul about the same, and the intercity bus terminal is a short bus ride away. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and very quiet. I booked a single, but received a double room - thank you! There was a large fridge and a freezer on every floor.

The House Hostel is located in Sokcho. Free WiFi access is available. The bus terminal is 5 minutes' walk away. Each room here will provide you with air conditioning. The hostel is well located in Sokcho, you can reach the market and harbour just by walking a few minutes. For further destinations theres a bus stop for the regular busses just around the corner and even the bus terminal for intercity busses is just a short walk away. During my stay the hostel was very quiet, which was perfect as I came here for relaxation and hiking. I had a single room with my own bathroom, which seemed extremely luxurious after staying in dorms for a while. The room was big and tidy, same goes for the bathroom.

The room and the bed were even bigger than expected, the breakfast was very nice (I miss fruits since I've been living here so that was very welcome) and the lady was so sweet and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer !

Very comfortable apartment that has everything you need for your stay! The host was super welcoming and helpful. He gave us a ton of advice. There is a cafe on the ground floor, some restaurants around and the beach is very close by walking. The lake has a walking trail- it’s pleasant to do a walk in the evening.
