The hostel feels safe and the staff is great. They even helped me to book a taxi for an early flight.

Just stayed one night but would DEFINITELY come back if I'm in Vientiane again. Such a cool concept (Twenties) and so many little details that make a backpackers life easier: lockers inside the beds, hangers and other options for your clothes inside the beds, beds in general were very comfortable, the showers had mirrors and were spacious, everything VERY clean. Breakfast was DIY with plenty of options (eggs, salads, toast, muesli, porridge, I saw someone making pancakes etc) the hostel is located in a quiet area yet close to the center. And in the evening there are local food stalls next to the hostel, if you want the full food experience :)
