I enjoyed cooking and sharing food with my roommates, and just chilling out in the common area. Watching animals coming and going in the garden was fun - mongoose, monkey, parrot, Bengali monitor, woodpecker, kingfisher, hornbill, etc. Two minutes walk to the lake for sunrise/sunset. Truly a gem in Anuradhapura!

The room was clean and comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the host, Sampath – he was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. He even helped us arrange transport and gave great local tips for exploring the ancient city. The peaceful surroundings and homely atmosphere made it a relaxing and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, affordable stay in Anuradhapura!

Manushaka was very friendly and always happy to help with suggestions about what to do. Location was a bit outside the city in a small neighborhood, so it wasn't close to much, but there was a nice garden with lots of animals always hanging around.. Scooter and bicycle rentals were easy to arrange and the food was very nice with the same price you'd expect at a local restaurant!
