Most places could have an 8+ rating, but when looking at the google reviews those places are filled with mold or have less than favourable reviews. This place is all positive. The staff will make you feel at home and they will do everything in their power to get you on the train to Ella!

The owner is a very beautiful person and Jule is a great host. The facilities are beautiful and renovated, the beds are very comfortable and the food they serve there is delicious. Had their breakfast burrito twice and think it was one of the tastier things I had in Kandy. They're more of an upscale hostel, so the rooms are clean and well-designed. A little pricier, but certainly worth it if you're wanting a slightly more comfortable dorm experience! Location is good, about a 15 minute walk into the town alongside the lake and about 5 minutes from one of the performance centers for the Kandy traditional fire-dance experiences.
