I think I also learned a lot about the Sinhala culture cause it was a bit like a Couchsurfing experience. I met some great travellers in the hostel! It was definitely my best stay in Sri Lanka and I'm grateful for that. The rooms are also very nice and clean.

The hosts were so nice, very helpful, full of good recommandations. I would come back here anytime and for a few more days because it was so nice. Felt like home with this lovely family! The food was also very good and we were able to see how to make a curry with the host which was really fun :)

Beautiful and quiet location surrounded by nature, excellent service, meals prepared upon request, and very fair prices. A wonderful experience I truly recommend!

It's a good compromise between a hostel and guesthouse, you'll get to connect with locals and Kani will help you with anything you need as he's the kindest host I met :) I will definitely recommend staying here!

Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at during my time in Sri Lanka. The place is clean and comfortable, breakfast was always delicious, and the one dinner I had there turned out to be the best meal of my trip — tasty, generous, and great quality. What really made it special was the people. Maliya was so kind and helpful, always there if I needed anything. He even took me to a beautiful sunset spot nearby and walked me to the bus stop when I checked out. Those small gestures really meant a lot and made the stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this place!
