Facilities are great (Cold showers however not an issue). Very nice rooms with large comfy beds, lockers, personal reading lights, towel and power plug. Owner and stuff super friendly and helpful. Kitchen and chill area upstairs which is open for use anytime. Drinking water available on site too which makes things easier. Great location, less than 5 minutes walk to the beach. Nice chill hostel. Loved it. Highly recommend.

I was here three weeks ago and decided to come back. No hostel is like this. The staff is amazing and friendly, the people is marvellous and social. It is totally understandable that people have stayed here for so long. Cute dog, but a bit hectic sometimes. Perfect placement, just a sec from the beach. Lovely volunteer, especially that extra guy, think his name is Alex.

You can view the whole beach from the hostel itself. The host was very polite and respectful towards the guest. Breakfast was amazing too which includes Sri Lankan breakfast on one of the days and it was very delicious. The dorms were clean, spacious and air conditioned. The bathrooms had showers with multiple settings and were clean too. Overall, an 10/10 experience. Nothing to call out.

Showcasing an expansive rooftop terrace with day-beds and barbeque, JJ's Hostel Mirissa is a boutique hostel and guesthouse located in Mirissa North, only a few minutes walk from Mirissa Beach. Very clean, has a pool only stayed a night but even if I stayed longer the hostel still would’ve been really good to stay in!

The location is great and the hostel has a beautiful sea view. The beach is right in front of you which is a great spot for surfing. The staff were very friendly and helped us with any questions we had during our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Definitely a good place to stay in the Weligama area!

The food they cook is amazing and the beakfast is different everyday wich is very nice. I had a very nice stay there, I highly recommend :)

JIB Hostel stands out as one of the most welcoming, accommodating, and comfortable hostels I have ever stayed. The owner, Jiny, was exceptionally helpful, providing valuable insights about Weligama. Her warm hospitality made me feel at ease as a newcomer to the area. The dormitory is spacious, and my bed was both clean and comfortable, offering ample room for all guests. The bathrooms are also large and well-equipped with necessary amenities. A notable feature of JIB Hostel is its restaurant, which serves a delightful array of Asian fusion dishes, including Korean, Thai, and Japanese cuisine, making it easy to find satisfying meal options. My stay at JIB Hostel was truly enjoyable, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to others.
