Hostel is very well located, just outside of the busy and noisy city center but only 5 minutes walking distance, easy to access. Delicious breakfast. Super clean room and bathroom. Nice view of tea plantations from the terrace. I highly recommend. Thank you for also helping me out with the police station 🙏🏻

This might be a little long but I must share because the assistance, the kindness that I have received is unforgettable. I visited during first week of December and Unfortunately I had met with an accident during my stay and they had taken care of me like a family. They were just a message away and took care of all my needs since I was totally bedridden. Shafaan who helped along with other staff and the hostel owner himself personally visited and checked if I was ok. To all staff, entire team of hostel I am thankful and forever grateful! It’s located in the most convenient location, very budget friendly yet so well maintained and offers comfortable stay. Everyone is very helpful.

Dreamville is nestled in the mountains, so you have a perfect view of the landscapes of Ella, including a gorgeous waterfall. You wake up to absolute serenity, and the property has lots of places to just chill out and enjoy the view. The beds are kind of open air, which I loved because you can draw the curtain in the morning and you're immediately greeted by this unbelievable view. The temperature is perfect too - Ella is never cold or hot, so the blanket that Dreamville provides is perfect for nighttime. Beds are super comfy! Breakfast was lovely as well, and you eat on the terrace that overlooks the whole property. Sham, the owner, is so lovely and did everything she could to make my stay wonderful, including calling tuktuks for me in the middle of the night! The only thing I'll note is that the place is about 30 minutes outside of Ella on a very bumpy tuktuk ride. I loved being away from the main part of Ella, but you might want to factor in some extra time and cost for travel (costs are minimal, about 2000 SLR one-way into town). The wifi works really well, but doesn't quite reach the bunks, so you'll probably want to use it in one of the common spaces. My only regret is not staying longer and spending more time hanging around Dreamville!

He was kind enough to pick me from railway station as the property was slightly away from Ella town. He also took me around to a few places nearby since the Tuk Tuks werent that reliable. The guesthouse was one of my favorites in Sri Lanka. It had a very homey feel to it. I loved spending time on the Hammock while the sunsets. They went out of their way to prepare Parota and Potato Veggies since I mentioned that I didnt want to eat Kottu or Hoppers. Shoutout to Mangala for giving me company and sharing more about Sri Lanka.
