The food was delicious, especially chicken kottu and shrimp noodles 😋. The location is near all other kite surfing schools and resorts, the area is mostly known for kite surfing, but i could borrow the hostel bike and explore and find some nice beaches to relax at too. Overall it was a great place and a good value.

Dinuda is in a great location, not far from the sand bar with the sea on one side and the lagoon on the other. You can watch the kite surfers from the resort if you don’t want to venture out. The rooms are lovely, big, bright and airy, very clean and comfortable. Lovely balcony with views out over the lagoon. There’s also a small pool, great to cool down in, and beautiful quiet gardens.

We had a great stay, the owner was so nice and helpful and even took us to the bus station which we really appreciated! The room was super clean and comfortable! The safari was amazing and all organised from the hostel so super easy. We would really recommend!

Loved the location, massive room with a huge balcony overlooking the ocean. We wake up to the sound of the wild birds and ocean waves bashing on the beach. Good facilities with a big room and extra big bed. Lovely Sunset a around 530 - 6pm Great location for kite surfing, excellent food and super friendly staff, lovely pool, we'll be back soon with our friends. Well done Wellé Wadiya, keep up the great service! Al the best!

Green Sapphire is in a great location on the access road to Wilpattu. There are lots of little shops selling snacks and things along that road too. It is not isolated. It is easy to find, on a good, sealed road. The place is kept immaculately clean. Dylan (the main host) is very responsive and helpful and will sort out whatever you need. He also provided plenty of food as well as binoculars, a tripod and a lens for mobile phone cameras Aircon was good and needed

The hostel is well equipped. There is drinking water provided and they have bicycles too. The beds come with (much appreciated) mosquito netting. The owners went out of their way to help me. The beds are very comfy. The place is very clean and well set-up. It is also really the only budget option in the area.
