I have never ever met such hospitable hosts in my life who made my short trip so comfortable and easy like I were a local. She gave me a lot of tips that you would never find in internet being a traveller. All five stars hotels shade away when it comes to blue lake hostel. Wholeheartedly recommended!

The water pressure in the bathroom is excellent. The location is outside of old town but it makes for some good walking exercise.

It's a quick 5 minute walk to the main square, and there are two grocery stores, kiosks, and over a dozen restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Everything you need is right there and at very economical prices. The hostel is in the shadow of the fortress and there are beautiful basilicas and other ancient sites, as well as walking trails through the forest with beautiful lake views, just a short walk away. The hostel is clean and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. The rooms are spacious, and It's an excellent value for the money. A simple breakfast of fresh bread and cocoa spread and jam are provided. I highly recommend this hostel for your visit to Ohrid.
