Really clean and comfortable stay in Casa Lupita. The rooms are really big so even though there are no curtains it still feels pretty private. Great area or the city, everything is just a small walk. Very good clothes washing services available. Good kitchen and common area facilities. You can also buy eggs and bananas for 5 pesos each which is handy if you get hungry and want to cook. There is also an amazing taco stand a little bit outside in the evening which is open till late. And the most beautiful part is that the callejoneadas always pass by the hostel in the evening so it is great to sit outside on the terrace and get a bit of the show every night.

We had a clean and spacious room. Shower had good water pressure. The hostel had a nice terrace to chill and hangout too. WiFi was decent even up there. Location was pretty decent - it was a comfortable walk to the main plaza, where most of the restaurants/eateries congregate around. For some cheap local food, we can recommend the gorditas and tamales from "Gorditas Doña Consuelo" (see Google Maps), which is a food stand that opens in the evenings. There is a complimentary breakfast that comes with our stay, but don't expect much, i.e. two pieces of toasted bread and jam, and a small plate of fruits. For those who need a more substantial breakfast, you can order additional dishes (e.g. chilaquiles) for a reasonable price, e.g. 60-70 MXN if I recall correctly.

The place has a beautiful terrace and view of the town. The owners are very hospitable and kind.. The room was nice, location is excellent. One of the staff sold us a guided tour, that was terrible. The worst we have ever been on. So don't fall for that!! But, we would definitely come back and recommend the place.

The staff were so nice and beds are very clean and comfortable. It’s walkable from the bus terminal. You need to take a bus to get to Centro but it wasn’t a big problem. Breakfast is offered.

The view from the rooftop was AMAZING! I love working there! The dorm beds are comfy and the dorm rooms are spacious and nicely arranged. There was natural light everywhere. The location was right at a small plaza and the vibe was chill. The wifi was pretty good even for online teaching on Zoom. The water pressure was good.
