The beds were soooo comfortable, and they were real beds not bunk beds, the roof was very high, and the sleeping room was clean, for the showers the water was hot,and they were cleaned regularily, and the socialising room looked like a phenomenal pinterest room for me, it has a variety of beautiful collected stuff, woody furniture everywhere, and beautiful peranakan tiles and design, booklets about penang and a collection of books, and a piano, a working one. I enjoyed staying in the socialising room, to the point that I started thinking that I should buy a house similar to that and settle there, The owner was so kind and helpful, and he came regularly to clean the house, and the location of the hostel was perfect close to anything you may ever need. I just loved this house, it felt like a real warm home, not a mere hostel, and I met lots of sweet girls there, what a wonderful experience! I wish there were more only females hostels like this one in every city.

Best hostel I’ve experienced in Malaysia- by a LONG WAY. Amazing staff and interesting fellow travellers to share stories and ideas with in three areas to socialise: the downstairs work/eating area, the rooftop kitchen and table, and the rooftop seating area. A beautiful spacious modern building perfectly situated in the historic old city. For me, a big YES was the crisp clean air in the soundproof 36-bed mixed dormitory, the spacious downstairs workspace, the big clean showers and toilets, and the suitably equipped kitchen on the rooftop for making own meals and saving some cash on my 10 week trip through Malaysia. Cold and hot drinks water on tap at two dispensers. An army of staff and volunteers were constantly at work keeping the floors spotless. Brilliant management of making the stay comfortable, clean, and safe. Kudos to all involved. Large two-shelved lockers outside the dorms made keeping things tidy easier. Excellent value for money. I am highly unlikely to try anywhere else if I am in Penang again. An 11/10!

Nằm ở George Town, cách Bãi biển Northam, Sogor Female Dormitory cung cấp điều hòa chỗ nghỉ Và phòng chờ chung. Sogor Female Dormitory is honestly one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at! I feel so lucky to have had the chance to stay here for 3 nights—it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Even though I came as a solo backpacker, I never felt alone. I ended up meeting two amazing foreigners during my stay, and we connected instantly. The environment is clean, hygienic, and very well maintained. The washrooms are spotless, the laundry area is convenient, and the public space is super comfortable—perfect for relaxing or chatting with other travelers. This hostel gave me not only a safe and comfy place to stay, but also meaningful memories and new friendships. I highly recommend it to any solo female traveler out there. I’d easily rate it 10/10!

Clean, tidy, comfortable, quiet, modern with all necessary facilities. Dorms have no windows but it did not bother me as they are spacious enough. AC works perfectly. Communication with the staff was smooth and helpful.

The location was very convenient as it is close to a lot of local eateries and bus stops that goes places. It is also close to a lot of the main attractions in george town. The room that I had was spacious and what I expected it to be. Bed was comfortable. The showers and toilets are plentiful in numbers albeit a little bit cramped in my opinion. PS: this place is self check in. They do have someone on site and they do send out a text message on whats app about the password for the main door and the room door. Just make sure you get the text message from them prior to your visit here. Communication is prompt and concise.

Pine Armenian tọa lạc ở George Town, cách Penang Botanic Gardens 8.7 km và Đồi Penang 9.1 km. There is no receptionist however they communicate on whatsapp and the response time is quick. Super clean and comfortable. Right next to the famous graffiti art.
