I loved the peace in this place!

Hostel Life is Good ligger i Moyogalpa, 39 km fra Maderas Volcano, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. I loved the atmosphere of the hostel. In the evening time they had candles everywhere and lights. It was so beautiful. They also have a lookout place where you can see the volcano during the day and stars at night time. It was a super quiet and chill place. They also had kitties which is a big bonus.

Staff was so kind, room was clean and comfortable with a fan for each bed, location was perfect for getting on the ferry the next day and they are able to help set up rides/excursions. Excellent value for the price, would definitely stay again!

Raindance ligger ved stranden i Santa Cruz, 19 minutters gang fra Playa Santo Domingo Strand, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, en have og en bar. The staff is kind , the location is very handy and the DJ is greatttttt! The food was greattt also

Rainbow Caravan Hostel ligger i Las Pilas, 17 km fra Maderas Volcano, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en restaurant samt gratis privat parkering. The place was very clean and tidy, tranquil, and no noise at night which is rare in Nicaragua because there's always someone making some noise. The food was quality, homemade vegan goodness. Making a fire was cool and it has all the modern amenities like a fridge and cooking equipment so you can bring beer. Didn't have any bugs unlike some of the other hostels i stayed in on Ometepe. It's quite a good location equidistance between the two towns and near the start of Volcan Concepción. I recommend renting an ATV rather than a scooter at the port and picking it up in Ometepe, don't trust the people on the San Jorge side. The hostel also offers scooter rental although I picked mine up at port. Very photogenic hostel and peaceful.

It’s a bit aside from the port city Moyogalpa, so it’s very calm and almost no cars and people here, but still easy to reach by foot from the Centre (15 min walk). It has breakfast included and it’s home cooked food by the family. My room was very spacious, with 1 double and 1 single bed. They had outlets outside and inside, so i could work online here. Ask for both WiFi passwords! The host family was very nice and always tried to help, like when I needed a dentist they found a number. They don’t speak English (as most locals here) but with my broken Spanish and google translate we always understood each other. You can also ask them about the laundry option. Thanks for hosting me!

B&B, family run homestay, Hospedaje La Penita ligger i Altagracia, 16 km fra Maderas Volcano, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.
