You walk around 5 minutes from the beach, the people here are so nice, with everyone having the same interest for surfing. It is very clean, the kitchen is good for cooking and there is even a skate bowl. I can recommend this to everyone who wants to surf and be surrounded by amazing people.

The accommodation features a shared kitchen, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. La Urraca all a was a little cosy home on Ometepe. The design is quirky, using eco materials, and everything was well thought through. We were shocked to have our first warm shower! Breakfast was well priced. The bed was comfy. We loved our stay!

When I arrived I was tired and hungry because of my itinerary and no food on the flight. Rex, the owner, graciously cooked me a delicious meal and never charged for it! I was saved from going to sleep hungry. Julieta is always charming, knowledgable and informative with any questions. I will be using Hostal Julieta in the future whenever I need to pass through Rivas for my flights or visa runs.

The food prices are more than fair and very yummy daily specials. It’s a small hostel, so it is easy to meet other travellers in the main hangout area. The hostel is owned by locals. I can definitely recommend this place :)
