It provides easy access to various points of interest around Senja and allows for a convenient trip back to the mainland for groceries. The rooms were spacious, and the shared areas were beautifully maintained. The large dining and lounge area, complete with a fireplace, created a cosy and welcoming environment. The kitchens were well-equipped, making it enjoyable to prepare meals alongside other guests and share dining experiences at the spacious communal table.

The host was a true gentleman and responded to my requests very quickly. Excellent service! This is a dormitory-style stay, so if you enjoy a community vibe and meeting fellow travelers, it’s absolutely perfect.

Set in a traditional wooden building, Tromso Activites Hostel is a family owned hostel located 700 metres from Tromsø Hurtigruten Ferry Terminal and 1.2 km from Polaria Aquarium. It was a great budget hostel with friendly staff and a cute dog. The rooms were clean and the beds decent. The kitchen was well equipped and they offered aurora chases in the winter
