Haka House Bay of Islands is a welcoming and stylish hostel located just across from the scenic Paihia wharf, offering cosy, practical accommodations with million-dollar views of the stunning... Genuinely the friendliest and most personable hostel staff that I have encountered in Aotearoa New Zealand so far! They also have the nicest view from the kitchen/lounge windows that I have seen so far. The hostel isn't very big and therefore has a calm atmosphere, no problems with noise.

Under new management from mid 2022 and just 80 metres from Paihia Beach, Peppertree Lodge features a barbecue area with outdoor seating. very clean and comfortable - especially the lounge area was great
