Haka House Bay of Islands is a welcoming and stylish hostel located just across from the scenic Paihia wharf, offering cosy, practical accommodations with million-dollar views of the stunning... The location was prime, though it was a bit difficult out to find the entrance as the hostel and reception aren’t on the ground floor. But it was on the waterfront and smack in the middle of a bunch of restaurants and shops with easy access to the ferry system.

Under new management from mid 2022 and just 80 metres from Paihia Beach, Peppertree Lodge features a barbecue area with outdoor seating. Value for money. Friendly, helpful staff
