Under new management from mid 2022 and just 80 metres from Paihia Beach, Peppertree Lodge features a barbecue area with outdoor seating. The room was clean. There were enough pots and cutlery in the kitchen. There was enough space in the lounge to hang out. Wifi was available. There were enough toilets and showers.

Centabay is in the best location, close to everything in town. It has a comfortable, laid back atmosphere, with a spa, hammocks, and a great shady patio surrounded by plants.
