Rotorua Downtown Backpackers is a modern hostel is located in the heart of Rotorua across the road from the I-Site and major bus lines. Dorm room: Able to lock valuables away in a safe, spacious rooms, bathrooms very clean. Kitchen: Always clean and never overly busy. The hostel provides free tea and coffee too! Location: 1 minute walk from the 'isite' where the Intercity bus drops you off. Staff: Very friendly staff member on reception- checked me in early as room was available and when aircon was not working temporarily the issue was fixed very quickly!

Located on a quiet street opposite Blake Park, Seagulls Guesthouse offers free fibre WiFi and is a 5-minute walk from Mount Maunganui Beach. The place is very clean and tidy. Staff is super friendly. A+++
