The centrally located Rock Solid Backpackers Rotorua offers free WiFi, a neighboring rock-climbing wall and a spacious guest lounge including a tour desk, a billiards table and a cinema. We stayed in the private room which was such a good size. Had a tv, mini fridge, kettle, fan, storage space, comfortable bed & decent size ensuite. Was quiet, lots of communal areas, washing machine on site, nice staff & so close to all the main attractions. Definitely recommend staying here!

Newly opened and refurbished in October 2020, Wanderlust NZ is a waterfront hostel located in a historical building in downtown Tauranga. One of the nicest hostels I've been to! I loved the location, very beautiful building, and the terrace overlooking the bay is the perfect spot to have breakfast! Shout-out to the staff! They were so nice and helpful (especially Luciano), as a solo traveler it is much appreciated. The bathrooms and showers were clean, the dorms as well.

Rotorua Downtown Backpackers is a modern hostel is located in the heart of Rotorua across the road from the I-Site and major bus lines. Great location. One can explore neighborhood by foot or drive easily to places like Maori Cultural Center or even to The Robbiton. Rotorua is cozy and the hostel was above expectation for my small family group.

Located on a quiet street opposite Blake Park, Seagulls Guesthouse offers free fibre WiFi and is a 5-minute walk from Mount Maunganui Beach. Great guest house with really welcoming host. Very clean and tidy place and the bed was very comfortable. Shared bathrooms but kept immaculate and great shower. Fantastic kitchen dinning area with lots of space and free tea and coffee. Lovely living area too and liked the property security used to enter the building and the room.

The location of the property is so strategically convenient and the staff was very helpful . Iya at the reception was very friendly , she also gave me a good orientation of the place and attended to my needs for laundry. I would recommend other travellers to stay here too , good location, value for money and friendly staff . Thanks again!
