Barnyard Backpackers Te Anau offers accommodation on spacious grounds with spectacular mountain views. Free WiFi and private on site parking is available. We loved the Barnyard! This place is a peaceful haven, surrounded by deers and scenic views. The room was large and comfortable, hot shower excellent, the common areas inclusive of kitchen spacious and cosy. And Nina was a lovely host. We loved our 4 nights there and wished we could stay longer. Will definitely return!

Set in park-like grounds on the shores of Lake Te Anau, 5 minutes' walk from the town centre, Te Anau Lakefront Backpackers has both mountain and lake views from the majority of the rooms. Beautiful, clean accommodation in a good location.
