Haka House Bay of Islands is a welcoming and stylish hostel located just across from the scenic Paihia wharf, offering cosy, practical accommodations with million-dollar views of the stunning... Appreciated the friendly service provided by the staff. Traveling solo, unfamiliar to the area and only a few days to explore, the gentleman at reception had some good recommendations for a bush walk, dinner spot and some exploring on the ferry. Under new management from mid 2022 and just 80 metres from Paihia Beach, Peppertree Lodge features a barbecue area with outdoor seating. Good location, confortable room, the kitchen is clean and you can find anything you need to cook :)

O Hostel Cell Block Backpackers é uma remodelada casa de jaila 1960, convertida em acomodações coloridas. Loved that it was unique! Loved the people and the owners, super friendly and everything was easy and accessible, they also had cats so it was nice cuddling up with them especially with me being away from home and missing my own.

Centabay Lodge offers budget accommodation right in the centre of Paihia. Choose from a bed in one of the spacious dormitory rooms or stay in a private room to suit your budget. Centabay is in the best location, close to everything in town. It has a comfortable, laid back atmosphere, with a spa, hammocks, and a great shady patio surrounded by plants. They even offer Kayaks for hire at a great price.
