We loved the huge communal area. The kitchen was spotless and well equipped. The room was also comfortable. A great location close to town, coast and penguins!

Tahuna Pod Hostel is located in the heart of Queenstown and features and a large balcony area with stunning views over the city. Limited on-site car parking is available for a fee. Location was less than 5 mins from airport bus stop and a block away from AVIS where we have to pick up our rental car. The kitchen have everything you need to cook your own meal. Highly recommend!

Set against the backdrop of awe-inspiring views, Haka House Wanaka is a welcoming hostel that serves as your gateway to discovering the Southern Alps. Nice hostel walking distance from the lake and the town, spacious comfy common area and big kitchen with everything you need. I stayed in the women’s dorm and it was really good, with private bathroom, curtains by the beds for privacy and drawers to store personal stuff (bring a locker).

Haka House Queenstown Lakefront is the ideal home away from home for travellers seeking comfort and convenience in the heart of New Zealand's adventure capital. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They really went out of their way to accommodate. Laundry facility was great. There was a drying room, which I really appreciated. Kitchen was big and very well equipped.

With the best location in town, locally owned On Top Backpackers & Apartments has something for every traveller! The hostel is very well organized and regularly cleaning and informative signs to help guild you. Staff were all helpful and rooms also good. If all pay attention to laid out organizational info then it would be above 5 stars.

Located on the lakefront in the centre of Queenstown, Absoloot Hostel Queenstown offers rooms with private bathrooms. Guests enjoy free unlimited Wi-Fi access in their rooms. It had a clean and well supplied communal kitchen. Its restroom and shower facility was also clean and well maintained. Its lift was perfect for my heavy baggage.

Em Wanaka, 2,3 km de Puzzling World, Adventure Wanaka Hostel dispõe de quartos com ar condicionado e um jardim. Location, Staff Very short walk to the lake so very easy to get to intercity bus stop, ice cream shop, supermarket, souvenir shops, bike rental, great Italian restaurant, Francesca's, etc. Staff are super friendly. A girl introduced me a really beautiful island called Mou Waho and I really enjoyed it. She also shared bike routes based on my ability and time. Adventure Wanaka offers free bike to certain route. If we want to bike far/beyond certain points, hostel also offers discount card for us to rent in another professional bike shop. Really appreciate it.
