Very cozy and nice place, stayed for Christmas and absolutely loved it. Quiet place but short walk to city center. Staff was very friendly. Nice and tidy kitchen, common room and bathrooms. The room itself was also very comfortable. Not very soundproof but didn’t bother me. Would definitely stay again!

I lost my AirPods during my stay, and the team not only contacted me to verify they were mine but even arranged to bring them to Queenstown with a staff member who happened to be traveling there. Their effort and thoughtfulness were truly above and beyond, and I deeply appreciate it!

Haka House Queenstown Lakefront is the ideal home away from home for travellers seeking comfort and convenience in the heart of New Zealand's adventure capital. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Also the rooms and beds are pretty good!

With the best location in town, locally owned On Top Backpackers & Apartments has something for every traveller! Perfect location for a couple that came on the bus and didn't have their own car. Everything we wanted to do was walking distance, even getting to the beach, bus stop was not even 5 minutes away. Loved the seclusion aswell, felt like we had an air bnb but for half the price.

Located on the lakefront in the centre of Queenstown, Absoloot Hostel Queenstown offers rooms with private bathrooms. Guests enjoy free unlimited Wi-Fi access in their rooms. The best and cleanest bathroom in all the places that I stay in my trip to New Zealand. I like that each bunk on the bunk bed has their own lamp, socket, and curtain. The protection to avoid falling off the top bunk is also good. You would think everywhere would have that, but they don't.
